About this event

NOTE: Registration is now closed. If you have not registered but would like to attend, please contact laflin@kyma.org.

KMA Physicians’ Day at the Capitol is one of the most important days for physicians across the state of Kentucky. Each year, physicians come together in Frankfort to meet and educate their legislators on important issues that will impact not only physicians and their practices, but their patients as well.

This year, a Virtual Legislative Briefing will be held via Zoom Webinar on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 pm EST, prior to the KMA Physicians' Day at the Capitol event. During the briefing, participants will hear from KMA lobbyists about priority legislation for the session and have a chance to ask questions.

On Wednesday, February 22, KMA members will gather in the State Capitol Rotunda for a press conference on prior authorization, followed by legislator visits, lunch, and a legislator visit debriefing. Please note that attendees must call the Legislative Research Commission at (502) 564-8100 to set up their meetings in advance.

Information on KMA's 2023 legislative priorities is available on the KMA website.

Please join us in Frankfort to advocate on behalf of medicine and help make 2023 another successful legislative session. Be sure to wear your white coat!
